IT'S A GIRL... Ariel Susana West

Our second grandbaby, Ariel Susana West, was born in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, China on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 10:34pm China time (9:34am OK Time). Ariel weighed 7 lbs 8 ozs which is good considering she was about two weeks early. Ben and Deysi are thrilled that Ariel has arrived and that the delivery time was quite short. Deysi and Ariel are doing very well at this time.

Pictures will follow shortly. Ben has stayed at the hospital with Deysi continuously and has not been able to get back to their apartment to upload any photos as yet.

On Thursday, March 29, Susie will be leaving Oklahoma City for China. Susie's Aunt Evie from Phoenix will also be traveling to China with her. They were hoping to have been there when Ariel was born but Ariel decided not to cooperate. Susie and Aunt Evie will be with Ben, Deysi, Gabriel, and Ariel for about a month to help as they get adjusted to the new addition.
